I just wanted to post a quick update about eBooks, since I've been getting a few questions on when they'll be available.
eBook versions of A Strong and Sudden Thaw and Connections are ready to go, but when I was ready to put them up in the store, I ran into a couple of snags with the shopping cart software--it turns out it doesn't support downloadable products as well as I thought it did. My ace programmer is working hard on the problem, and I will be putting those books up in the store as soon as he finishes beating it into submission.
In the meantime, A Strong and Sudden Thaw is currently available in Amazon Kindle format for those of you with Kindles. Connections will be available in that format very soon as well (I'd guess Tuesday or Wednesday), and I'll update this blog post with the link when it is. [Edit] Here's where you can get Connections.
I've been a little quiet on the blog lately because I've picked up a lot of extra freelance work lately in order to keep Iris going. Two big jobs have finished up in the last week, though, so look forward to more rambling here soon!

Idea
You should title your next book "How to Cheat Authors Out of Their Hard-earned Money". I'm sure it would be a big hit. If only for the learning we could all glean from it.
You might also want to mention in it how to beg money from your customers and them leave them high and dry with nothing to show for it.
Good business practices we all should be aware of. Who better to teach us?

Kellie...!
Please post something. Anything.
This is...
At this point, I cannot help but to think that everyone's hopes for a revival were risen for nothing. The store is still waiting on promise of a Connections e-book, the boys' love Valentines are still on offer for "pre-order" and as yet, there's still no definitive word on Queer Magic.
Kellie made a lot of promises and convinced a lot of people to put money into this venture (a second time); I think those people deserve an explanation of some sort regarding this eerily familiar silence/disappearance.

Hi ^^ it's been two months.
Do you suppose ebooks will be available soon? I'd buy from Amazon if I could but those Kindles cost an arm and a leg. And I really do prefer e-formats to paperbacks, so I was just hoping.
hmm... another round of
hmm... another round of silence. I cannot but wonder what this means for the second future of Iris.
I think the same =(
The worst thing is that I just found out about this wonderful publisher ='(

D: Oh no! Give us some more rambling, Kellie~!!!!!
Glad to hear from you!
Glad to hear from you!
Oh thank you! Do you know if
Oh thank you! Do you know if the books will be available on other ebook vendors like Fictionwise? I do about 99% of my ebook shopping there and it seems the easiest. All Romance eBooks is pretty popular too, but they only sell romance and erotica.
Thanks for the news! It's very exciting.
Fictionwise isn't a good fit
Fictionwise isn't a good fit right now, because they require publishers to have a larger title list--at least 10 titles. It's something I'll be keeping an eye on in the future, though, especially if Iris does start producing more eBooks.
Oh, I see. Thank you for
Oh, I see. Thank you for clearing that up! I'll keep my eyes open til then.
